
A gang member has been convicted on Friday for the murder of teenage actress Tara Correa-McMullen and a man during a shooting spree in 2005.
Damien Watts, 23 was found guilty on two counts of first-degree murder and six counts of attempted murder in Los Angeles Superior Court.
On October 21, 2005, Correa-McMullen was shot to death outside an apartment complex in Inglewood, California. She was only 16 years old.
The actress was most well-know for her role as Graciela Reyes on the CBS TV series “Judging Amy“. She also co-starred with Martin Lawrence in the 2005 movie “Rebound“.
Watts also was convicted of killing 31-year-old Thomas Sanders. He faces life in prison without parole when he is sentenced next month.
