Brit popstress Lily Allen is heading to Afghanistan.
Over the years, “The Fear” singer has been involved in a lot of controversies. But during an interview with Q Radio’s Samanthi, she said she is determined to change her ways by doing charity work abroad.
The 24-year-old star also revealed that her life felt a little “vacuous”.
She said: “I sometimes feel like my life is a bit empty, a bit vacuous. It is pop music and people do talk about it too much. Sometimes I feel like I want to have a bit more substance in my life.
“I am going to be going to Afghanistan or the Congo in a few weeks to help War Child. They want me to go there and see how the money I have earned for them in the past is being used. And that is the stuff I get really excited about.”
If visiting a war-torn country will make her feel better, then we have no objections.
