NFL star Jeff Reed was arrested and charged early Saturday morning (Feb. 14) for an alleged incident in Westmoreland County.
The Pittsburgh Steelers kicker has been charged with criminal mischief and disorderly conduct after throwing a tantrum over an empty paper towel machine at a Sheetz gas station in New Alexandria PA.
According to reports, Reed, 29 damaged a towel dispenser inside the men’s room. When he left the toilet, he spoke to a Sheetz employee using loud and profane language, police said.
Reed’s steadfast presence on the field has led to him making several game-winning or game-tying field goals, frequently amidst loud, unfriendly crowds.
He has made nearly 83 percent of his field goals (162 of 196) and scored 733 points for the Steelers in his career.
