Rihanna has been keeping a low profile since she was allegedly beaten by Chris Brown and recently she headed down to Punta Mita, Mexico where she stayed with close friends.
The pop star was photographed looking sad and depressed on the deserted beach wearing a stylish white bikini. The shocking bruises that were visible in a leaked photo of Rihanna seem to have faded.
The images were reportedly snapped at a private villa on Saturday, a day after she celebrated her 21st birthday in Los Angeles.
The Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office said that the investigation is still ongoing.
Chris Brown will make a court appearance on March 5 to answer to criminal charges.
