Surviving Beatles Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr appeared on stage together for the first time in seven years on Saturday night at “Change Begins Within,” a benefit concert at Radio City Music Hall in New York.
The pair appeared on the show headlined by McCartney in aid of the David Lynch Foundation, a charity fronted by the filmmaker, which promotes transcendental meditation among schoolchildren.
The 66-year-old singer-songwriter played several Beatles tunes as well as some from his solo career before bringing Ringo onstage to perform “With a Little Help from My Friends”.
McCartney also paid a tearful tribute to the late John Lennon, reports the BBC, before playing “Here Today”, a song he wrote for him.
The concert also featured Sheryl Crow, Eddie Vedder and Donovan.
